Abstract [eng] In this work the ALI/UNIDROIT principles of international civil procesure are analyzed in detail, the main problematic aspects and issues of these principles are discussed throughout this work. Based on the articles of various law scholars, both general and problematic issues related to this topic are consistently discussed. The work starts with the development of the principles of international civil procedure, the reasons and the aims of the project are elaborated and the authors of the project take the initiative. The qualitative analysis of the content of the principles and the obstacles that make it difficult to apply the principles of international civil procedure in practice are presented in detail. Benchmarking compares ALI/UNIDROIT principles with the characteristics of the USA civil procedure, in order to better identify the similarities and differences between different legal systems and the difficulty of combining them. The assessment of ALI/UNIDROIT and the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania is presented, giving examples and similarities of proper implementation. The impact of ALI / UNIDROIT in initiating and shaping a regional civil unification project - ELI / UNIDROIT is under scrutiny. Emphasis is placed on the essential moments of this project, from development to the intended provisions and objectives. The last part of the thesis is to evaluate the significance of ALI / UNIDROIT principles and to evaluate future prospects.
