The ageing of the population is one of the most important demographic features that have arisen in the 21st century. This affects all aspects of society. The European Commission announced in 2020 the importance of maintaining the activity of older people and ensuring the proper provision of social services. The provision of quality services is a complex phenomenon based on the synthesis of recognised and accepted standards and individual personal perceptions. Given the increase in service demand and the increasing demands for service quality, it is an important challenge for social service providers to put quality improvement standards into their activities by providing social services to the elderly in their homes. The significant objective of providing social services becomes to meet the needs of the recipient of services, so the assessment of the need for services is essential for the quality of services. |
