Research results were analysed in the context of question “Please recall one specific situation/event, when you experienced a social dilemma in working with people with disability? Describe your experience in as much detail and detail as possible”. 9 meta-topics, 32 topics and 114 subtopics were identified after analysing the reflection of experiences when facing ethical dilemmas. There were highlighted the following meta-topics: expressions of emotions and feelings in the context of an ethical dilemma in social work with persons with disability; dilemmas of possibilities and limitations of social services for a person with disability; dilemma after facing the situation of a person with disability in solving social problems; dilemmas on professionalism of social work in the context of conflicting experiences and inner conflicts; dilemmas of creating and maintaining an interpersonal relationship with a person with disability; dilemmas of professional calling vs. limitations of competency; humanity and tolerance dilemma of the viewpoint of society on emphasizing the uniqueness of a person with disability; dilemmas of inadequate behaviour of a person with disability in the process of solving social problems; dilemmas of conflicting inner experiences in relation with a person with disability. |
