Abstract [eng] The organisation of social services poses many challenges for families at social risk, with children with disabilities. Experience in social work plays a significant role from the choice of profession to the provision of social services. Every experience is authentic, so the social work profession should be less technical and look more closely at the personal experience of social workers as an important source of knowledge in helping social workers reflect on how their personal experience affects professional practices. The work analyses the experiences of social workers in providing social services to families at social risk who are raising children with physical disabilities. A qualitative study was carried out, the data were collected during a semi-structured interview and processed using a content analysis method. The study involved 12 social workers selected by targeted cryer selection. The results showed that social workers are generally able to build and maintain a positive relationship with the family and the child with disabilities growing up there, but the relationship is changing. The most necessary professional tools become the ability to communicate, to cook between family and social institutions, emotional resilience and emotion management. When working with clients, social workers experience a variety of feelings: anger, frustration, anxiety, pity, despair and uncertainty, and only sometimes feel satisfied with the results of their work, which allows predicting the manifestations of professional burnout. The provision of social services raises the need for services provided by cancer, housing adaptation, employment organisation, education assistance to the child, psychologist, addiction counsellors and doctors. There are professional risks arising from aggressive behaviour by customers, administrative workload, lack of knowledge of a child's disability. Families at social risk are reluctant to cooperate, recognise a child's disability and needs, refuse to accept services that require their efforts and lifestyle changes. This behavior is associated with experience in the biological family and the influence of the people around them. Social workers try to spend more time with their family, engage in their favorite activities, not answer phone jobs, but these methods do not always help. Most participate in supervisions, some help themselves by participating in self-help groups, interacting with coworkers and collaborating with other professionals. They see reflection as an opportunity to experience psychological relief, a feeling that they are not alone, increase motivation, find new job opportunities and solutions to problems, and avoid professional burnout.
