Master‘s thesis consists of theoretical studies, related to the theme, discription and practical part,consisting of four fashion models for mens, characterising bikers subculture and named - „ROAD KNIGHTS“. Collection is created according the outfit and trappings of the baltic tribe‘s warriors of the XIII a. – XIV a., searching of individual artistic solution and similarities with nowadays militaristic bikers style. It was created from natural materials: leather, felt, precious metals. Tradicional construction technologies was used: hand sewing, weaving and lacing, riveting. The main creation motto – merge of bikers and balts militaristic outfit stylish parallels into one collection, because one of the most standout subcultures in our country, distinguished by their life style and fashion – Lithuanian bikers. The theoretical part is dedicated for the concise analysis of bikers subculture as the social expression and it‘s manifestation in modern youth outfit in the streets and show events. Todays bikers fashion style retains the late XX a. militaristic traditions, and propagates distinctive life style based on brotherhood and ideals of generality of ideas. In such way, there is focusing on social fashion aspects. There is presented a review of balts militaristic fashion and accessories in XIII- XIVa. Furthermore theoretical section includes analyses of motorcyclists fashion accessories stylistic, aesthetic and constructive singularities. Also there is intoduced the analyses of the modern fashion duality, militaristic and ethnic manifestations in nowadays designers works, presented lithuanian and foreign artists creative interpretations. |
