Abstract [eng] Master's Thesis investigates Republic's of Lithuania education system and choreographic education system within. Lists the profession selection and theoretical aspects of personality, career and strategic management concepts. This Master's Thesis is based on professional development, choice of profession, career development and strategic management theories. Objective of the thesis – to analyze the Mazeikiai choreography school's youth choreographic education as a prerequisite for a future career, strategic management and to base its development directions. To collect all empirical evidence, the author used his questionnaires (one for schoolchildren, another for teachers and experts) and conducted interviews with the management of Mazeikiai choreography school. The study found that 68.0 percent respondents, being younger than 17 years old, plans to further his career, while 54.2 percent respondents at least partially aware of what the profession will choose. All of the respondents saw a youth choreographic education benefits, through personal development, health promotion and acquiring the knowledge necessary for any work, as well as in life. The analysis of Mazeikiu choreography school of strategic management system, found that the Mazeikiai choreography school development is expedient because: attend school large enough number of children and young people (over 300); school with highly qualified teachers who understand the strategic management of meaning and significance; their professional activities directed raised to achieve strategic objectives. The study found that the author formulated proven scientific hypothesis – Mazeikiai choreography school youth education strategy creates preconditions for future careers. The research findings could be used to solve issues with a similar type of non-formal education institutions of strategic management related to career education.
