SUMMARYRegional economic disparities are linked to the differences in regional development. To assess the disparities of regional economic growth, it is important to understand that the disparities of regional growth depend on many factors. Economic processes increasingly penetrating into regional development, and increasingly can be heard about labor market effect on regional disparities of economic growth. Thus, the modern developments environment suggests that complex activity of globalization, internationalization and competitive conditions will be able to successfully develop only those regions that continually assess and improve the labor market impact of the region's economic growth, not only will be able to react to changes, but also to initiate them. Regional economic disparities are the object of work.The purpose of the work is to performto perform structured assessment of economic disparities of Siauliai region and Panevezys region in the labor market context. The purpose of the article is detailed intasks determining its following structure: first,performing the theoretical labor market impact and analysis significance of occurrence assessment of regional economic disparities. Then the theoretical model of structural assessment of regional economic disparities in the context of the labor market expression was constructed, alsothe structural assessment of economic disparities of Šiauliai region and Panevėžys region in the labor market context was organized, which revealed valuable regions lagging behind the national average.Methodology of the work, which has helped to solve the above mentioned tasks, consists of the following methods: analysis of scientific literature (theoretical analysis and generalization methods), method of a hypothetical deductive paradigm, statistical analysis, correlation analysis.A study conducted allows to distinguish problematic disparities economic development elements of Šiauliairegion and Panevėžysregion. A more detailed impact of strength and determination of these elements, based on a model which allowed to define the guidelines which could be more detailed focus on the most important problems of regional economic disparities. |
