Abstract [eng] One of the main objectives of the economic and social policies of the Member States of the European Union is to increase the employment of people experiencing social exclusion by fully integrating them into the society’s activities of. Scientific research has shown that people with disabilities are more likely to experience social exclusion than healthy people, so, states must pay particular attention to reducing social exclusion, poverty and increasing employment for people with disabilities. In order to reduce the exclusion of people with disabilities, the employment of these persons is generally encouraged by their integration into the labour market and, therefore, state aid is granted to economic entities that contribute to the integration of the disabled into the labour market. The thesis examines the impact of state aid aimed at increasing the employment of disabled people not only on the inclusion of disabled people in the labour market, but also the impact of this aid on the material deprivation of the social exclusion of disabled people, which is reflected through poverty of disabled people. According to the analysis of scientific literature, a system of evaluation indicators has been established in the thesis to measure the impact of State aid on the reduction of social exclusion of people with disabilities. The assessment aspects specific to the State aid in question are also set out. In order to assess the impact of State aid on the employment of disabled persons, a complex evaluation model is created in the thesis. Based on this model the proposals for the improvement of State aid for the employment of disabled persons in Lithuania are provided.
